Birth

The end of a magical March.
The blooming of anemones and chrysanthemums spread a carpet of color beneath the green woods.
On a nearby hill the lilac-shaded mountain lupine blossoms in all its splendor, as white butterflies dance playfully above the blooms adding to the enchantment.

Is this the world I am drawn to?
Is all this in my honor?
What is hidden beneath the wonder of this creation?
Closing my eyes, I allow myself to drift in the turbulent river.
Shaken, my senses are awoken, revealing this glorious masterpiece. As I continue to drift in the winding river, I find myself falling into a raging waterfall, that sweeps me into new realms. I simply surrender to the forces of nature, letting it guide me.
I discover the intensity as my senses are liberated by the magnificence of nature.
I dare to believe, as I rub my eyes, that all of this is real,
not a presentation of false illusions that will lead me back to an obscure and imperfect world.

As I grow from day-to-day, the earth crumbles beneath my feet.
With open eyes I try to decipher the codes of the world we live in, those hidden and those visible, though the concealed is greater than the conspicuous.
I am hopeful that with observant eyes I will be able to understand the laws of nature and its implications for me as a person and for all mankind.
